Welcome new and returning Members!
I wanted to start off by mentioning our increase in Membership. Just 18 short months ago our membership was at 120 wonderful and loyal members. I am proud to say that our current membership is now at a whopping 170 and growing. It’s obvious that our customers are seeing the value in APICS membership, such as discounts on, the wonderful APICS monthly magazine, and the terrific networking opportunities. It’s not just for the certification maintenance points any longer. The APICS association, along with the local chapters has been working hard to give you the value added membership that you have been looking for. Thanks for supporting a great organization! We look forward to making sure we live up to you’re expectations.Earlier this month we certified another 14 Six Sigma Green Belts. Wow! That gives us a total of 32 Certified Green belts to date. Congratulations to all the students who worked so hard and congratulations to all the companies who supported the students and that will benefit from their knowledge. The Black Belt class it starting March 5th so make sure if you’re planning on attending that you get signed up right away.
We have our CSCP class scheduled to start April 3rd so if you want to take your Supply Chain career to the next level make sure you check out our website for all the details at www.apics-nors.org. This is a brand new certification and we already have two certified members in the Reno area. You could be next!
