A new chapter President…
…July 1st will mark the start of a new year for the Northern Sierra Chapter. A new chapter President will take office along with a new Board of Directors. Linda McNeil, CPIM will be the chapter’s new President. Linda has been with IGT since 1997 and is currently in the Material Master Department. She is a Mizzou alum, a former CPA, and she’s been a Northern Sierra board member since 2007. She earned her CPIM that same year. Congratulations and welcome Linda!
The 2009-2010 board will include several continuing members: Art Landacre - Vice President Programs; Jeff Lawrence, CPIM – Vice President Communication; Ed Miller, CPIM – Vice President Finance; Mark Denninger, CPIM – Vice President Marketing; and Diego Montoya. New board members include Scott Hasterlik, VP Membership and Cornelius Rivera. There are still a couple of openings on the new board. Contact Linda McNeil is interested.
And thank you to our departing board members. Jeanny Ng, CPIM, CSCP and Ted Day, CPIM have done great work.

Utilizing APICS’ Enterprise Membership program, IGT recently consolidated all of the company’s employee memberships into a single, unified membership. 54 IGT employees are now under the Enterprise Membership umbrella. 23 of the 54 are continuing members, 15 are returning former members, and 16 are new members.
