Upcoming Execution and Control of Operations

Northern Sierra Chapter is proud to offer the next course in the series of CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) review classes. Beginning June 14th, 2010, the "Execution and Control of Operations" class will be offered in Minden, NV at the GE Training Center.
 

Areas covered in the classes include but are not limited to:

  • Prioritizing and Sequencing Work to be Performed
  • Executing Plans, Implementing Physical Controls
  • Reporting Results of Activities Performed
  • Evaluating Performance and Providing Feedback

  Instructor: Ed Miller
  About the Instructor Ed has practiced Accounting and Auditing for over twenty years, mostly for construction and manufacturing industries, and has taught accounting as well for Morrison University. Working mostly with small companies, professional applications of those skills include streamlining operations and information-sharing processes, developing training programs for estimating, Purchasing and Operations, and programming in-house project estimation software. Performing Internal Audit for IGT, he achieved CPIM in January 2008. He has served on the APCIS-NORS Board since July 2008.
