Upcoming Strategic Management of Resources Classes

Northern Sierra Chapter is proud to offer the next course in the series of CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) review classes. Beginning November 15th, 2010, the "Strategic Management of Resources" class will be offered in Reno, NV.

In this course, students explore the relationship of existing and emerging processes and technologies to manufacturing strategy and supply-chain-related functions. The course addresses three main topics: aligning resources with the strategic plan, configuring and integrating operating processes to support the strategic plan, and implementing change.

For maximum comprehension of course content, students should be familiar with the information and concepts presented in other CPIM modules before taking this course.

  About the Instructor

Cherie Aubuchon is a Business Analyst for International Game Technology (IGT) in Reno, focusing primarily on business process improvement and integration of subsidiary units into the Enterprise Resource Planning software tool utilized by IGT, SAP.

In 2002, Cherie received her CPIM Certification and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She has completed the APICS Train the Trainer program and has experience teaching inventory and production concepts, warehousing and logistics concepts and financial information and requirements to both financial and non-financial mangers.

Cherie's varied experience and wealth of knowledge lends itself well to teaching the concepts of Strategic Management of Resources and she looks forward to sharing these concepts in the classroom
